‍CSV upload for Sources (beta)

In Setup > Sources you can now upload CSV files in specific formats that will allow you to load financial data outside of our ERP integrations. This is an addition to the existing Excel upload (using a trial balance template). New formats will also support transaction-level data.

If the CSV format you want to upload is not yet listed, please reach out to support@finstack.io and we will look into the possibility to support your format.

‍KPIs per entity

KPIs can now be configured per entity. This is a new way of organising the KPIs that will hook into the entity filter across reporting and will allow for formulas that take in the relevant KPIs across entities.

‍Forecast: sum forecasts

In Setup > Forecast you will now find a toggle button Sum all entities when selecting the “All entities” forecast. This will automatically sum the values in the underlying forecasts per entity. You can choose to populate the “All entities” forecast yourself or have it be calculated by the system.

‍Group cost centers

It is now possible to organise your cost centers across entities into groups that you can define yourself. Find the configuration in Setup > Admin. In Reporting you can then filter on individual cost centers or these cost center groups.

‍KPI upload

Besides exporting your KPI statistics, it is now also possible to import new values via Excel. Make sure to use the template for the import to succeed. It is only possible to import static values, formulas will be maintained in Finstack.

‍Multiple structures in Forecast

It is now possible to create forecasts on structures other than the Default structure. This will allow you to create budgets for specific business units for example. Please note that updating your structure will also affect your forecast.

What’s next

The new year has started and we are working hard on the inner workings of the Sheet integration. We will add some final touches on the Working Capital pages, partially based on your feedback, and will release them in the new look-and-feel. We are looking into an ERP integration with MS Dynamics 365. We are excited for going into 2025 with you!
