Release notes Oct 25, 2023

Forecasting interface

The forecasting module has a new look. It includes a new overview of the scenarios that you have created, including information on the latest changes made. You can now additionally forecast the Balance sheet and total rows will be calculated unlike before.

Integrations: Quickbooks & AFAS

Customers using Quickbooks or AFAS can now connect to Finstack. We are very pleased to be able to serve more customers with these new integrations. Please reach out if you are interested in these integrations, so we can help set things up.

2FA

Finstack now provides an additional layer of security by providing two-factor authentication for customers. Go to your account settings to enable 2FA. A QR-code will be presented to scan with an authentication app. It is possible to require 2FA for your team in the Admin panel.

Totals column

In Reporting, a totals column will now be displayed by default. Totals will be calculated by the periods that you have selected.

Optimisations
In the coming weeks we are rolling out several improvements to improve slow loading times. We are identifying bottlenecks and rewriting logic to improve efficiency. Especially for customers with a large number of transactions this should significantly improve their experience in building reports.

New website
Please find an updated version of our website with more reasons to start using Finstack on https://www.finstack.io/. Feel free to share among your network.

Feedback
As always, don’t hesitate to contact us with suggestions or missing features! Please reach out to sebastiaan [at] finstack.io directly.

What’s next

We are continuing the planned work to give the KPI interface an update like we did for Forecasting. In addition to that, we are working through the list of planned reporting improvements, to enhance the overall user experience. Two larger projects ahead are supporting partial ownership in consolidation and additional multi-currency support. More on that soon!

Feel like seeing Finstack in action?

It’s the only consolidation reporting platform that doesn't feel like Windows 95.
